Review : Really happy with this one!
I loved this hard drive on sight - it's sleek design, it's very portable size, it's seemingly sturdy build - I put it in my hands and enjoyed the feel of it - it's so well made!
Apart from the superficial stuff - it's pretty fast - I backed up my computer on it for less than 50 min! My old one took more than an hour to copy a few gigs. It's USB portal is very versatile, and as I said fast, something which I didn't expect. I thought I ought to buy a fire-wire one to get quick results, but I opted for Samsung, since I'm generally happy with their products and I think I made the right choice.
I truly great thing about it, apart from taking very little space, this hard drive lies on it's side, which trust me is very important - my old hard drive was standing up and I can't tell you the amount of times my cat tipped it over and the sickening noise which came as it crashed down to it's side. It wasn't just the cat and it's a miracle it held up as long as it did, but I made a note...
