Review : HP Printer Inks - Poor Value for Money
Avoid wherever possible buying HP ink cartridges that are not XL. Even when you buy XL (particularly Black) make sure it is High Capacity. The life of the lesser spec cartridges seems to be rated in days. At least the XL should last out the month. Really someone needs to expose the ridiculous small amounts of ink that are put in these cartridges. It would be far more cost effective to find a non HP printer where ink cartridges contain more ink and the price is far more realistic. HP inks are way too expensive. In comparison the cost of the printer is neglible compared to the running costs.
