Review : A great piece of kit! Works in Mac Lion and Mountain Lion
I do quite a lot of scanning - it's part of how I work as an illustrator. I have uploaded some images that show how a scanner helps with my work on the product page. Having a small scanner that I can keep on the desk next to me and just use as required, without any complications, is a dream come true!
This little scanner is great. Just open up the cover, plug it into a USB port and the scanner sets itself up and is ready for use in no time at all. I didn't need to load any software onto my Mac Book Pro, it is all in the scanner!
It has a fully automatic mode - which will give you a .PDF or a .TIFF or a .JPEG direct from a scan of anything that will feed through the slot. It also scans both sides at the same time - unless you tell it not to - brilliant!
In manual mode you get most of the stuff you would expect - from 150 dpi up to 600 dpi scanning, 24 bit colour, greyscale and mono (B&W). and some simple correction options.
