Review : I was sold a pig in a poke!
A couple of months ago I decided to ditch my old computer running a 1.6mhz chip for an all singing and dancing one. I started with a barebones kit with an Asus AM3 motherboard which needed DDR3 memory. After installing the processor and two sticks of this ram (8 meg) and hooked up to my monitor I got no signal. Sent the kit back to the seller who sent it back with a new motherboard but same problem so I sent it back and am in the process of getting my money back from Paypal. Meanwhile I ordered a new barbones kit with a Gigabyte mobo and put everything in that...and what do you know, no signal to the monitor. I then phoned the sellers technical dept. and was asked to take one of the sticks of memory out and start up and if still no signal replace the lone one with the other. Well what do you know, I got a signal with one stick of Komputerbay memory. That was enough for me to get Windows 7 up and running. Like one of the other reviewers here I thought I was unlucky and got one stick in...
