This is a cheap and simple way to use your old IDE hard drives in a modern computer and is excellent value. The one gripe is that the packaging has pictorial instructions which are the wrong way round showing the SATA lead on the wrong terminal! As long as you are aware of this you won't spend ages scratching your head wondering why it doesn't work. When set up correctly it does the job.
